These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of www.notaryofficial.com (the "Site"), operated by Stellar Ventures LLC ("NotaryOfficial.com," "we," "us," or "our"). By accessing or using the Site, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you may not use the Site.

1. Directory Service — No Endorsement

NotaryOfficial.com is an online directory service that allows notaries public to advertise their services. We do not employ, credential, verify, endorse, recommend, or vouch for any notary listed on this Site. The presence of a listing does not constitute a representation that the notary is currently licensed, bonded, insured, or in good standing in any jurisdiction.

Users seeking notary services are solely responsible for independently verifying the credentials, licensing status, and suitability of any notary they contact through this Site. We expressly disclaim any liability for the acts, omissions, quality of work, or conduct of any notary listed on the Site.

2. Listing Eligibility

Listing accounts are available only to individuals who are currently commissioned or licensed as a notary public in their respective U.S. state or jurisdiction. By registering, you represent and warrant that you hold a valid notary commission at the time of sign-up and for the duration of your listing. Submitting a listing under false pretenses is grounds for immediate removal without refund.

All listings are subject to review and approval by NotaryOfficial.com before they are made public. We reserve the right to approve, reject, or remove any listing at our sole discretion, with or without notice.

3. Subscription Plans and Billing

NotaryOfficial.com offers paid annual listing subscriptions:

Basic Plan — $19 per year
Professional Plan — $49 per year

Featured listing add-ons are available as one-time purchases for 3, 6, or 12-month terms. All prices are in U.S. dollars and are subject to change with notice.

Subscriptions are billed annually and automatically renew unless cancelled prior to the renewal date. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your payment method on file through Stripe, our third-party payment processor. You are responsible for maintaining a valid payment method.

4. Refund Policy

Subscription fees are generally non-refundable. If your listing application is rejected by NotaryOfficial.com before it is made public, you will receive a full refund of the subscription fee paid. Once a listing has been approved and made live, no refunds will be issued for the current subscription period, including if you choose to cancel before the period ends. Featured listing add-on fees are non-refundable once purchased.

We reserve the right to issue refunds in exceptional circumstances at our sole discretion.

5. Cancellation

You may cancel your account at any time by logging into your member dashboard and selecting Delete My Account under Account Settings. Cancellation removes your listing and terminates your subscription at the end of the current billing period. You may also request cancellation by contacting us at [email protected].

Cancellation does not entitle you to a prorated refund for any unused portion of your subscription term.

6. Accuracy of Listing Information

You are solely responsible for the accuracy, completeness, and legality of the information submitted in your listing. You agree not to include false, misleading, or fraudulent information, and to keep your listing up to date. NotaryOfficial.com reserves the right to edit or remove listings that contain inaccurate, inappropriate, or misleading content.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Site to:

Submit false, fraudulent, or misleading information
Impersonate any person or entity
Scrape, crawl, or use automated tools to extract data without our written permission
Transmit viruses, malware, or any code intended to harm or interfere with the Site
Violate any applicable law or regulation
Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any portion of the Site or its infrastructure

Violations may result in immediate account termination without refund and may be referred to law enforcement.

8. Contact Forms and Communications

Professional plan listings may include a contact form that allows visitors to send inquiries directly to the listed notary's email address. NotaryOfficial.com is not a party to, and takes no responsibility for, the content of messages sent through these forms or the notary's response (or lack thereof).

9. Intellectual Property

All content on this Site that is not submitted by users — including design, code, graphics, and text — is the property of Stellar Ventures LLC and may not be reproduced, distributed, or used without our express written consent. By submitting listing content, you grant NotaryOfficial.com a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display that content on the Site.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SITE AND ITS CONTENT ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SITE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE OF VIRUSES OR OTHER HARMFUL COMPONENTS.

11. Limitation of Liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, NOTARYOFFICIAL.COM AND STELLAR VENTURES LLC SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SITE OR ANY NOTARY SERVICES OBTAINED THROUGH THE SITE, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO US IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless NotaryOfficial.com, Stellar Ventures LLC, and their respective officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorney's fees) arising out of your use of the Site, your listing content, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third-party rights.

13. Third-Party Links

The Site may contain links to third-party websites, including notary business websites. These links are provided for convenience only and do not constitute an endorsement. We have no control over third-party sites and are not responsible for their content, privacy practices, or availability.

14. Modifications

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Your continued use of the Site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

15. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any dispute arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Florida.

16. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and NotaryOfficial.com with respect to your use of the Site and supersede all prior agreements and understandings.
